Happy 1st Birthday Viv!

Yesterday was Viv's 1st birthday! It is amazing how fast a year flies and even more amazing how wonderful one little person can make your life! Viv has been such an amazing gift and we are amazed every day at how much spunk and personality this little girl has bottled up in that little body.
We had a big birthday party luau for her and her friend Will on Saturday. It was a blast! Unfortunately, our camera broke a few days ago, so we were unable to take any photos of our own. However, we have some awesome friends who took some shots, so once I get those pics I'll post them.
Fun Facts About Viv:
Number of Teeth: 6
Hair color: Bald, with little sprigs of what appear to be strawberry blonde hair
Most Recent ObsessionDucks (she carries her toy duck around everywhere--it has replaced Baby)
Favorite Toys: Her new "Little People" farm she got for her b-day, her ducks, her baby, her stuffed bunny and books.
Favorite Food: mostly refuses to eat, but likes bananas and Mexican food more than anything else
Introvert/Extrovert? Definitely an extrovert--makes an average of 6 new friends every time we go anywhere
Favorite Friends:Cheryl Mason, Ana Haymore, and Carly Williams (she's obsessed with Carly's belly).
Words Produced Spontaneously: duck (guck), Baby (buhbee), Mama, Daddy (dadduh), cracker (crackuh), bye-bye, uh-oh, hi, car (cah), books (buhts), no, I Love you (I gu uh), bear (bay), night-night (nigh nigh), banana (num-a-num)
Words She'll Mimic/Produce with Prodding: sheep, caterpillar (buttabutta), lion, bathtub (baatuh), balloon, Nana (that's what she calls grandma Phyllis), lots of others she's tried to say that I can't remember.
Number of Attendees at First Birthday Luau: around 90 (more than all of mommy's and daddy's b-day parties combined)
Things She Likes: wrestling on the bed, playing peek-a-boo, stealing mommy's phone, attention of any kind, chatting it up with folks at the store, reading, playing "I'm gonna get you"!
Things She Dislikes: airplane rides, taking naps, eating, her carseat, when anyone leaves or stops paying attention to her, being without her ducks, getting her diaper changed!

A Wardrobe for All Seasons!
A couple of weekends ago we went to Utah for my mom's wedding and it was FREEZING! As you can see, Viv doesn't appreciate the cold any more than I do:
Before we left for the wedding, the weather in California was sunny, but still had a bit of a chill. Plenty warm to be outside without a jacket though:
I was happy to find, upon returning to California, that summer had arrived! In fact it was 90 degrees INSIDE our house today (a little TOO hot, but we'll take it). Here's Viv sporting her first and only bikini:
