1) A newfound obsesssion with her feet. She is constantly either grabbing or sucking them.
2)Doing Crunches (I think she's actually trying to sit up, but it looks like she's exercising to me)
Given Vivi's desire to sit up on her own, I've tried to let her practice more. However, I have to watch her every movement because sometimes she suddenly lunges forward and faceplants. Her progress is impressive, though. Here is a picture of her trying to sit up on her own (I love the excited and proud look she has on her face...she is always VERY expressive. It's never hard to tell how she's feeling):
Lastly, Vivi has been "teething" for what seems to be an eternity now. You can see a little bit of white underneath the gums and the the fussiness and gnawing on everything in sight (including the fingers, faces, and noses of unsuspecting adults) are present, but no teeth yet. I keep hoping they come in soon so my happier, less clingy baby will return (since she's started teething, I can't leave her sight or she wimpers). But even grumpy and clingy, she's been pure entertainment. Here's my best shot of her teeth--you can't see anything yet, but I thought the picture was cute:

She is so cute and I just can't believe how blue her eyes are. You're mom is so cute. Last time I saw her she told me about 5 times how she couldn't wait until Thanksgiving to see that baby! I want to send you some bows for Vivi. Let me know if there's a certain outfit you want or just basic colors and I will talk my sister into making some. Maybe when you come up we can meet and we can match her outfits exactly to the bow. You can NEVER have to many bows!

Teething is horrible, but biting while nursing is even worse. Hopefully, she won't do that. She's adorable. I still can't believe I won't get to meet her until she is one!
Yes! All that yoga you did while pregnant paid off....Vivi will soon be whipping out downward dog!
I love babies grabbing their feet--they are like little animals. And you know how I feel about any slight possibility of teething--LOTS OF TYLENOL!
